Southport Marina

Southport Marina is conveniently located in the center of Kenosha’s new Harbor Park Development. The marina is within walking distance to several fine restaurants that offer a variety of dining experiences. Additionally, there is a full range of services located in the downtown area all within walking distance to the marina.

Kenosha Public Museum

The Kenosha Public Museum, located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is a natural sciences and fine and decorative arts museum. Established in 1933, the Museum’s collections have grown to over 80,000, including 1,200 works in the fine arts collection. Exhibit programming includes mammoths, world cultures, Native Americans, zoology, geology, fossils, and fine and decorative arts.

Civil War Museum

The Civil War Museum is like no other Civil War museum in the country. The museum focuses on the Civil War from the perspective of the people of the seven states of the upper middle west: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin

Kenosha History Center

The Kenosha History Center collects and preserves artifacts, records and information vital to the understanding the history of the County’s social, cultural, ethnic and industrial heritage since its settlement.

Kenosha Harbor Market

Kenosha HarborMarket™ is an open-air, European-style, mixed market that operates year-round. During the summer months, Kenosha HarborMarket™ can be found in Downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin along 2nd Avenue between 54th and 56th Streets behind the Kenosha Public Museum and Civil War Museum and at Place de Douai near the Southport Marina. Winter finds the market indoors at the historic Rhode Center for the Arts

Sculpture Walk

The Sculpture Walk runs along the harbor and features a dozen inspiring works of art for all to enjoy. The Kenosha Community Foundation Arts Fund coordinates the Sculpture Walk—HarborPark. The sculptures are fully funded through private donations. The 2017-19 exhibit was installed September 2017.

Simmons Island Beach

Public Lake Michigan beach with a boardwalk. It’s near a paved bike trail, two historic lighthouses, and a playground and open air picnic pavilion in the park. A City of Kenosha park.

Wisconsin Marathon

The Wisconsin Marathon was created to fill the need for a quality, spring time, long distance running event in the Midwest, specifically, the Chicago area. The idea was to create an event with a fun-filled atmosphere that was more about the joy of running, than the stress of competition. With the help of the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, a race location was found, and the Wisconsin Marathon was born.

THE SHORE Outta Sight Kite Flight Kite Festival

The 17th annual THE SHORE Outta Sight Kite Flight Kite Festival – a “Whale of a Time” – takes place in Kenosha’s Kennedy Park. This family event is FREE to all, with FREE parking.

Kenosha Pops

Enjoy live musical entertainment at Kenosha’s lakefront. Join conductors Craig Gall and Frank Germinaro in the 96th season of the Kenosha Pops Concert Band.

Peanut Butter & Jam Concert Series

This is a free summer concert series, presented by Happenings Magazine, the City of Kenosha, and other sponsors. This is the 17th season! The event is on Kenosha’s Electric Streetcar line.

Tribute Island Music Festival

The event features the most celebrated tribute acts from across the Midwest playing a wide variety of the most popular music of the last half century. It all takes place at Simmons Island on Kenosha’s beautiful lakefront. Presented by Happenings Magazine.

HarborPark Jazz Rhythm & Blues

The HarborPark Jazz, Rhythm and Blues festival is produced by the volunteer efforts of the Mary Lou & Arthur F Mahone Fund, a non-profit organization. We DO NOT encourage alcoholic carry-ins and ask that patrons continue to support our efforts by purchasing premium wine and beer from our beverage garden. The mission of the Mahone Fund is to provide educational opportunities for economically and academically deserving youth and to support healthy lifestyle initiatives in communities of color.

Kenosha Pop Up Beer Garden

The Beer Garden features a thoughtful selection of different Milwaukee Brewing Company brews on tap, along with a local brewery, live music, and local food trucks. A family-friendly line-up will bring different activities daily to the island. This event is family friendly.

Kenosha Creative Space Beach Party

Kenosha Creative Space will showcase Kenosha’s creative community during a celebration on Simmons Island.

16th Annual Car Show To Benefit Our Wounded Veterans

Hosted by the Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association Inc. The show is open to all cars, trucks, motorcycles and military vehicles.

Featuring food & drinks, family activities, 50-50 and other raffles, door prizes, and music.
