LIGHTIN' UP Downtown Kenosha

Friday, November 28, 2014
4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us as the City of Kenosha kicks off the holiday season in the brightest of fashion!

Downtown Kenosha’s Lightin' Up festivities begin with the City of Kenosha's Christmas tree lighting program at 4 p.m. at the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 First Ave. The Kal Bergendahl Project will provide musical entertainment and Miss Kenosha Tori Bogren will make a special guest appearance. Children may enter their names in a drawing to assist Mayor Keith Bosman in lighting the city's Christmas tree west of the museum. Santa Claus also is expected to make an appearance at the museum, and later will visit with people at Santa's Wonderland in downtown Kenosha. After the tree lighting, Downtown businesses will offer special sales and promotions, live entertainment, family activities and more during this family-friendly event from 5-9 p.m. People may ride the streetcar free of charge during the Lightin' Up celebration.

Watch for more information in the coming weeks including details on merchant promotions, activities and entertainment!
